don’t blink

When we last met I looked like this (before my last entry that is), then…

April 25th 2009, Alice arrives…a day late but well worth the wait.

Our days were busy, we took lots of naps.

We made some things…

Got out of the city for awhile…

And Spring ran into summer. Summer has run into fall. I feel like I am forever chasing the days. Once we got our groove though our Spring and Summer was lovely. Here is a list of what we got done.

We went to the beach. Finley got over his fear of the ocean and heights. Played lots of soccer. Napped all together in one big bed. Worried about money and decided it was not worth worrying about. Traveled to Ohio. Made pies. Knit. Fell ever so head over heels in love with Alice. Installed the air conditioner for the one week of warm weather that called for it. Took a break from “homeschooling” and still kept learning. Finally started my homeschooling parenting journal and lost it. Rocked the baby. Read Richard Scarry’s The Great Pie Robbery a bizillion times. Celebrated 4 years with an incredible kid.  Did some serious scooting around the neighborhood and beyond. Went to the Maryland State Fair. Kissed the baby. Ate deep-fried Oreos. Milked a cow (Fin not me). Rode bumper cars and a ferris wheel. Finley cared for some chickens at Muscoot Farms in Westchester. Lost our minds and found them again. Realized God truly is in the details.  Well about brings us to now…
